After immigrating from Schwabia,
Germany with his family at the age
of 15, Christoph Zierholz grew up to
become a respected scientist in soil and
With his solid scientific background
and an obsession with quality, he soon
moved on and began brewing litres of
award-winning local beer.
The Zierholz Brewery is one of the
latest success stories the region has
experienced, with growing numbers of the
beer now offered on tap at various local
"Our goal is to be the main non-standard
beer in the region," the brewer said.
Christoph has seen the four of his
brews grow in popularity and he hopes
that the tasty beer changes the way
Australians enjoy one of the nation's
favourite past times.

Over 12 university choirs from around Australia are coming to the Canberra region to present a summer evening of
Spanish themed choral music. The concert will have a selection of music from composers including Victoria, Lauridsen,
and Whitacre, a selection of songs from the Red Book of Montserrat and various - Catalan Folksongs.
