gives it away when celebrations are
under way -- balloons, and Canberra's
autumn morning sky will be filled with
them during the festival period.

Canberra's lakes and green surrounds,
won't be able to pass up the opportunity
to take a ride in one of the magnificent
hot air balloons that depart from the
lawns of Old Parliament House.
From 7am-10am each morning, there
are outstanding entertainment acts
scheduled to perform including Annie
and the Armadillos, Natalie Magee Trio
and e Fuelers. Hot breakfasts will also
be available, so this festival, be the early
bird who catches the balloon.

and, for the first time in its seven-year
history, will be screening its top 12 films
against the backdrop of the city's lights

FlipArt event entertain the crowd.
Filmmakers who enter are given a list
of 10 items to include in their movie,
with only 10 days to cast, shoot, edit and
produce a seven-minute film. Generous
cash prizes, including a $500 grand prize
for the best film, are up for grabs.

film stars under the night sky.

and Stalker infuse into the cityscape, and
will no doubt find themselves holding
their breath while watching these creative
sparks, along with a many other distinctive
performances, flaunt fearless gravity-defying
party tricks as they entertain the crowds.
