FADDEN SPRING FAIR
Fadden primary school will be
having a Spring Fair on Sunday,
October 23. There will be a giant
slide, jumping castle, sausage
sizzle, Devonshire tea, second
hand items, Taekwondo display,
cake stalls, face painting, raffles
and much more. The fair runs
from 11am to 2pm.
CANBERRA CITY EVENING VIEW
The Canberra City Evening
VIEW Club will be holding its
monthly dinner meeting on
Wednesday, October 12, from
6pm at the Yowani Country Club
in Lyneham. Spend an enjoyable
evening with women who are
part of an organisation devoted
to friendship and community

The Humanitarian Settlement
Services Program, which is run
by the Migrant and Refugee
Settlement Services of the
ACT, provides refugees and
humanitarian clients with
support in settling in Australia.
The program seeks volunteers
to assist case managers in
this vital role. No qualifications
are necessary – just time,
patience and goodwill. For more

will be holding its Country Fair on

TUGGERANONG DAY VIEW
The next monthly meeting of the
Tuggeranong Day VIEW Club will
be the 18th birthday celebrations
and will be held on Tuesday,
October 18, at 11.30am at
Tuggeranong Town Centre Vikings
Club on the corner of Athllon Drive
and Rowland Rees Crescent.
There will be a two-course lunch
and birthday cake, and after
lunch, entertainment will be by
Calwell High School Performing
Arts students. All ladies welcome

GRIEVING DUE TO DEATH OF
Solace Inc ACT is a self-help
group of sufferers grieving
because their partners have
died and who can listen, support
and comfort due to their similar

re-establish all their lives and go
