a higher rate of re-imbursement and receive intensive
support in relation to 'therapeutic parenting'.
'On Track ACT' aims to place a child in your care until they
reach adulthood. It is necessary to have a spare bedroom
and a drivers licence however, it does not require previous
parenting experience; singles and couples of all orientation
are encouraged to apply. Carers meet regularly with the
care team, foster care worker and therapeutic specialist.
'On Track ACT' is delivered in partnership by Barnardos and
the Australian Childhood Foundation.

young people in out of home care and the support
needed to achieve better outcomes.

easily fit into a single or multi-cat household.

THUMBS down on the Cur-
tin bus shelter, which was not
vandalised (Thumbs Up,
Thumbs Down, Chronicle,
January 11), it was hit by a
car. The driver was talking on
their mobile and was distrac-
ted so thumbs down to talking
on your mobile while driving.
THUMBS up to the two
gentlemen in a red car who
assisted me this week.
They helped push my car off the road when
it broke down on Monday afternoon at
Their prompt action enabled the south-
bound traffic at the corner of the Federal
and Barton highways to proceed.
It also enabled me to have the follow up
assistance of an NRMA technician and a
towtruck to get the car to repair before
closing time. Many thanks to all those
involved. It was refreshing to experience the
spirit of kindness shown.
THUMBS down to all those
people who do not provide
adequate water for their pets.
A dog on a leash needs water;
however, water heated by the
sun does not quench thirst.
The same goes for birds in cages. Remember to
change the water for your animals.
